Yes, you can create your own eBooks!

Whether you're creating an ebook as a free marketing tool to give away, or if you want to create something that will generate passive revenue and additional streams of income, this workshop will get you up and running.

This workshop will focus on the how-and-why of ebook marketing, rather than writing style or content, although we'll give a handout on those basics.

We'll talk about what's really needed to get your ebook out the door quickly, and earning you business, FAST.

- Find out which of the three major reasons to write an eBook apply to you

- How to create totally automatic income with an eBook

- When to give away your eBook, or when to sell it

- How to create the right kind of eBook for your Audience

- Choosing the right platform to sell your eBook (PDF or portable reader?)

- How to setup an automatic customer download in just minutes

- How to setup an eBook for sale on Kindle or iTunes

- How to design an attractive cover for your eBook (yup, eBooks need covers, too!)

- How to use an eBook as an automatic lead-generator (and follow-up) tool

- How to use an eBook for market testing and research

- How to turn your eBook into an automatic online course

- When your eBook decides to become a printed book

... plus TONS more info that you can put to use right away!

  News and Updates
Saturday, June 12, 2010

For those of you who wanted a copy of this, here's Peggy's Cosmo Quiz...

1. Are you a fiction or non-fiction Author?
    1 = Fiction
    2 = Non-fiction
2. Do you already have an established reader base?
    1 = Nobody knows my work yet.
    2 = I'm just getting started at self-marketing.
    3 = I have already published/I have a blog with many subscribers
3. How long is your manuscript?
    1 = It's close to War and Peace
    2 = It's about 20-30k words
    3 = It's under 7k words
4. How much maintenance are you prepared to do on your eBook?
    1 = I need someone else to handle client relationships and
        payment, and just cut me a check once in a while
    2 = I can provide e-delivery, client support, and I
        can manage my own electronic payments
5. Is your material subject to revisions?
    1 = No, it's a static piece of work that doesn't change.
    2 = Yes, it has scientific data or technical instructions
        that might require revisions once in a while.
6. How much marketing are you prepared to do to yourself?
    1 = I can do a bit of blogging and social media.
    2 = Besides my blog that I update regularly, I'm also working to
        develop a larger base of followers in social media, get reviews,
        push the book on multiple platforms, and do some podcasting.
    3 = I'm hardcore: I'm a speaker, I have a publicist, and this eBook
        is a full-time commitment for me.

6-10 your style is "Sweet and Speedy"
A DRM platform like Amazon Kindle, Kobo, or iTunes
will provide a high level of automation, and while
you'll still have to do self-marketing, you can rely
on a certain amount of natural exposure.

10-12 your style is "Safe and Steady"
You have some choices. Your platform choice hinges
specifically on your choices about how much marketing
you can commit to. Nothing's carved in stone, and perhaps
it makes sense to start on one plotform, expanding to
more as time goes on and you gain better recognition.

13-15 your style is "Strong and Sexy"
You can keep more in your pocket if you use your skills
to manage more of your content yourself. Making use of
all the resources available to you, both paid and free,
will pay off in the long run.
